Two Chelsea fans were hospitalized in Naples on Tuesday evening following a reported altercation, prompting the club to issue a stark safety warning to traveling supporters.

The incident occurred on the eve of Chelsea’s final Champions League group stage match against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. According to the club, the injuries sustained by the two individuals are not life-threatening.

In a statement, Chelsea strongly advised all fans in the Italian city to “exercise extreme caution” and to heed pre-match safety guidance. Reports circulating among supporters on social media described encounters with individuals brandishing knives.
